Super Duper Kool Fever IRL 43va!

Although she only graduated from the University of the Philippines in 2011, Maria Jeona Zoleta is acknowledged as one of Manila's brightest emerging young talents. Outrageous but charming, her paintings, drawings and installations create a world that is filled with the magical sparkle colours of a nine year-old fascinated with comix, sticker books and plastic toys. It is a world that is at once innocent and sexy.

Zoleta plans to transform the main gallery at Equator Art Projects into one single enveloping installation: "super duper cool fever". Paintings and drawings will be part of this, as will be lights, projections, objects and we are not quite sure what else.
